Courtney Guthrie
Courtney Guthrie holds a Bachelor of Music (2012) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in Instrumental Studies.
Currently, Courtney teaches Orchestra at South Charlotte and Community House Middle Schools both located in Charlotte. Orchestras under Ms. Guthrie’s direction have consistently earned Superior and Excellent ratings at the North Carolina Music Performance Adjudication and at a variety of other performance venues. Ms. Guthrie has been a free lance violinist in the Charlotte area for years and holds professional memberships with MENC, NCMEA.
